Tonight Show – Pumpcast News Prank

Several years ago, many gas stations started putting in TV screens above gas pumps in order to serve advertisements to customers. That gave The Tonight Show a great idea – use one of those to prank people buying gas. So they set up a fake news station and anchor and called it Pumpcast News. As a person was filling up, the anchor would be relaying “news” then suddenly ask the person’s opinion at the pump (“Let’s go to pump 15 at Burbank. You sir, what’s your thoughts on this?”  It was a great gig that brought out some really fun and funny moments. Here’s one of the segments that features a man that loves to sing…
